Boruto: What Should Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura Learn from Ino’s Parenting?

 Every Naruto fan knows that the series often broke the new generation of shinobi out of their predestined fates. Even the titular character was not spared when he was labeled as a troublemaker because of the Nine-Tails Fox being inside him. Even Sasuke was too preoccupied with avenging the Uchiha clan by killing Itachi. It would be wrong to blame the characters for their choices because their actions were heavily impacted by the mistakes of their clans and bad parents. The Boruto series appeared to be going in the same direction. However, with Ino, the series seems to make up for the past wrongs. She plays a dual role, which gives Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura an example worth emulating. 

Unlike the Yamanaka clan, who are adept at being sensory perception ninjas, Sai’s son, Inojin, was struggling with his destiny. Ino was well known for it, and even his dad too was a war hero and fought against Kaguya’s forces. Though Inojin is better at manifesting beasts from drawing just like Sai, he feels inadequate since he wants to learn her mom’s talents. Even though he is quite good at it, he still has a long way to go according to the chakra barrier tests. 

Ino does not hide the fact that he is not good enough to join her unit but instead makes her son feel good about his abilities. She tells him that she is not angry with him and advises Inojin to focus on his strengths. The empathetic moment between them makes Inojin ask whether she would join the chakra project and close down the flower shop. But Ino declines because of the threat of Kara; she believes Konoha will need her.

Inojin feels a little saddened by the fact that his mother nurtures and steers him away from Yamanaka. Ino knows what she is doing; she doesn’t want his son to be stressed by the drama. Inojin can work on himself and improve. He can come later; there is no lack of opportunities. She doesn’t want to burden him with the responsibilities and results that she suffered in her day. It took her a lot of work to overcome these things. She wishes the younger generation to have a more peaceful future. She has developed a new outlook and model to help the younger generation of shinobi evolve.

It seems that Ino has worked out a way of parenting that even Sakura, Sasuke, or Naruto can’t come up with. They can, therefore, learn a lot from Ino, who seems much more compassionate and empathetic to the younger generation of shinobi who are struggling to find their place in the world.

Dragon Ball: Gohan’s Mysteries and His Powers

 Dragon Ball is one of the most successful anime franchises of all time, and it has had a massive impact on the industry. Produced by Toei Animation, the series has been around for decades now. It’s been an inspiration for video games, movies, action figures, and much more. The series has added new characters with every new arch, and it has consistently impressed the viewers. Every new character brings something new to the show, and the creators need to be appreciated for bringing unique storylines that complement the specific personalities of these characters. Although Goku and Vegeta are the deuteragonists of the series, several others have made their impact, Gohan being one of them. 

Being the son of Goku, the strongest character in the universe, there is no doubt that there was a lot of pressure and expectation on Gohan. He even seemed to surpass much of those expectations, for the most part. Not only was his upbringing tough, but there are a lot of mysteries and secrets that most Dragon Ball fans are not aware of. Today we look at some of these secrets and his powers to understand Gohan better. 

Untapped Limitless Potential

Gohan awakened his inner strength using his weakness as fuel, which makes him a unique character. With the help of spiritual Goku, he succeeded in neutralizing the threat of Cell, and his power continued to grow during the Cell Games. When he annihilated Bojack in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, it seemed that the sky was the limit for Goku’s son. However, it was unclear what was the source of his powers, but it hardly mattered. He underwent a strange transition in his demeanor when he transformed into Super Saiyan 2. 

Gohan’s arrogance was not something out of the ordinary. Even Vegeta was well known for his overconfidence, and Gohan’s father, Goku, too, had his moments. However, when Gohan became focused on winning, he ensured that other characters recognized that he too was a powerful Saiyan now. Despite developing his Ultimate Form, and consistently learning new techniques, it seems that it has been a little too late for him. Only if Gohan’s journey had begun when his powers were awakening, he might have had a much more satisfying journey. It appears that there were a lot of untapped potentials that Gohan could have used. 

Only Half-Saiyan With Tail

None of the new generation Half-Saiyan have a tail except for Gohan. It used to be a rite to transform into the Great Ape for all Saiyans but ever since Gohan’s transformation, the new generation never developed tails. Despite being Half-Saiyans, Trunks and Goten never had their tails, and as a consequence, they did not transform into Great Apes. Since the younger generation is strong; therefore, they don’t need to transform. However, the real reason for that must be Tomiyama’s failure in fixing his mistake. 

Inconsistent Vision

Saiyans being elite warriors, never needed any assistance of eyewear, but here too, Gohan is an exception. It is surprising that Goku’s son has poor eyesight. When he was attending school, Gohan always wore glasses, and not only that, even while returning to the battlefield in Dragon Ball Super, he did not get rid of them. However, when he transforms into a Super Saiyan, he no longer needs bifocals and dominates his adversaries without assistance. Since he no longer needs glasses after he transforms into a Super Saiyan, there is a possibility that he might not need them in the first place. His character designers prefer his look in bifocals when he is not a Super Saiyan. But there is also a possibility that turning Super Saiyan enhances his vision somehow or his instincts become so strong that they can compensate for his low vision.

Math Genius

Since Gohan is a Super Saiyan and the son of the strongest character in the universe, most fans often forget that he has a high IQ. He had mastered trigonometry when he was just four years old. His fighting prowess overshadows his genius, but at an age when most children are yet to go to school, Gohan was already learning complicated mathematical concepts. Chi-Chi never misses a chance of admiring Gohan for his high IQ. Gohan’s intelligence is often neglected since he is Goku’s son and a mighty Super Saiyan himself. It’s only because of the high IQ that he has been able to master so many techniques and abilities so fast.

Moreover, he also puts his intelligence to fair use in school and by working in the world. It is a little disappointing that such a talented Saiyan who could have even surpassed Goku failed to do so. If he had trained more, there is no doubt that he would have become the strongest warrior in the world of Dragon Ball.

Chainsaw Man: Cliffhanger Teases the New Life of Denji

 A lot has happened in the Chainsaw Man world, and after eating Makima as his lunch, Denji sails on a journey to become a regular guy who doesn’t regret his decision. After an ending conclusion where we all thought that Chainsaw Man is finally coming to an end, Tatsuki Fujimoto teases an alternative ending. To be exact, this is only the beginning of the cruel world of Chainsaw Man.

Note: The following contains spoilers for Chainsaw Man chapter 95 and 96.

Fans who wondered that this would be the end of Chainsaw Man are in for a treat. The second volume will soon hit the market, and it will follow the adventure of the newly found control devil child who will accompany Denji into his new life of freedom and family.

After consulting with Denji, Kishibe offers a deal that if they let the government control the devil child, they will again turn her into the second Makima as she is the one who is carrying Makima’s powers on her shoulders.

Denji unwillingly takes Nayuta under his wing and promises to take care of her until Kishibe returns. Hence both Nayuta and Denji start their new life of being an ordinary citizen again. In a few pages, Pochita asks Denji to take care of the control devil as in her previous life, all she wanted was to hug somebody and form a family, but the government made her a puppet, and the only way she could ever show her love is by the power of fear. Pochita asks Denji to take care of Nayuta till the end in the same way he has been taking care of him.

At the end of the manga, Denji became an idol who saves humanity from the devils. As the last chapter ends, Denji wears a school uniform and a backpack, indicating that indeed Denji has changed his ways and is no longer the Chainsaw Man people once feared.

Denji is no longer the Chainsaw Man that Makima wanted him to be. He changed his life, and he was determined to become a savior of humanity. This special ending gives way more credit to Denji than he deserves. Deep down, Denji knows that Makima is dead, and he is the one who killed her. At the start of the series, Denji wanted to embrace Makima, and he even fell for her romantically. Makima also shared a bond with Denji in the Gun Devil arc, She asks Denji to kill the Gun Devil, and in return, she’ll love him as a man.

But throughout the ups and downs, Denji resolves that for a better good for humanity, he needs to kill Makima. With Kishibe’s help, Denji kills Makima and eats her to reunite with her for the last time.

Theoretically, suppose Denji and Makima ever had a child. In that case, it’ll be Nayuta, and now that Makima is gone, Denji wants to fulfill his duty as the Devil hunter and family to Nayuta. The chapter proved that Denji, regardless of his past imperfections, is a capable guy, and he can take care of himself and Nayuta until the very last breath of his life to prove that he is still Denji and not the mindless Chainsaw Man.

Code Geass Director Reveals Promo of Back Arrow Anime

 In 2006, Code Geass made its debut as the greatest mecha anime of all time, but the show has so much depth in the way a story is told, and in its characters, Code Geass ultimately becomes a cult-hit in anime history. The director behind Code Geass is finally making a comeback with a new anime named Back Arrow, and this might be time to revisit the mecha era.

Director Goro Taniguchi is teaming up with the Kill la Kill, Promare, and Gurren Lagann writer Kazuki Nakashima to work on their latest anime series Back Arrow, which will be affiliated with Aniplex and release in 2021.

As a veteran mecha anime director, Goro Taniguchi will be streamlining the anime in the mecha direction with the central character Back Arrow, who can summon giant mecha machines known as Briheight. Previously, the anime was supposedly set to be premiered in January. However, the date was not finalized, and a new date was fixed, which is January 8th, 2021.

The latest tweet confirmed that the show would begin streaming from January 8th weekly. The new promo looks impressive, and it is not far from the truth that the animation quality is top-notch. The visuals look colorful, and the characters look promising. After all, Goro Taniguchi is directing the anime, so the anime will inevitably look gorgeous. One more thing that needs to be pointed out about the promo is the characters.

The characters in the promo look young and promise a better character transformation that might be the same as Lelouch from the Code Geass series. The latest tweet also shared the cast and characters who’ll be playing the leading role in the anime.  Kunihiro Kawamoto will be playing the role of Burk Lean, Tomokazu Seki as Sola Athin, Reina Ueda as Annie, Sara Matsumoto as Jim, Anna Nagase as Tom, and Maria Naganawa as Sam.

Story and plot of Back Arrow

Unlike Code Geass,  Back Arrow’s story will occur in a village surrounded by a wall similar to the plot of Attack on Titan. The people inside the world will be unaware of what’s outside, and identically to the Attack on Titan plot, the life inside the walls will be secluded from the world’s development.

The concept of walls will be unraveled when an outsider appears inside the walls. Back Arrow will claim that he has lost his memories. As the story develops, Back Arrow will start to remember that he came from the veneers’ outside world. Back Arrow, to reclaim his memories, goes further and beyond to fight what is precious to him, and in the process, he will uncover the hidden secrets of the walls hidden from the insiders for the longest time.

The characters, plot, and situation might seem that the anime will be a rip-off of Attack on Titan. Still, Goro Taniguchi is known for his unpredicted plot twists in Code Geass, and Back Arrow seems like a show that will be the most underrated anime of 2021, joining the ranks of Attack on Titan season four, The Promised Neverland Season 2, and The Rising Of The Shield Hero.

Silver Spoon Is the Ideal Manga to Binge if You Are a Fan of Hiromu Arakawa’s Work

 Written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist is a classic manga that has sold over 70 million volumes. It is one of the world’s best-selling manga of all time and continues to have a significant influence. Therefore, it is not surprising that it was an introduction for millions to the world of manga because of its worldwide popularity. Although Arakawa has had a lot of success, it is surprising that his other work, Silver Spoon, did not get as much as attention that it should. Despite being a great manga, Silver Spoon struggled and never got popular among manga fans.

The manga has over 15 volumes, and it even got an anime adaptation back in 2013. However, Silver Spoon is grounded in reality, unlike Fullmetal Alchemist, which is a tale of magic and fantasy. When the protagonist, Yugo Hachiken, fails to make it to a prestigious high school, he decides that he will enroll in Ooezo Agricultural High School. He thinks that going to a vocational school would be better for him since he would get a chance to get away from his family. Since he is compared to his successful older brother all the time, his relationship with his family is strained. However, when he arrives at the Ooezo Agricultural School, he soon realizes that his life there is not as easy as he had thought. He doesn’t really know anything about farming, and while most of his classmates have some dreams for the future, Yugo doesn’t have any.

Although, it is true that Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon are vastly different, but they do have one similarity. Both the stories are about finding your place in the world, growing and understanding one’s purpose. Just like Edward Elric was challenged to accept the death of his mother and fight for the greater good as he was destined for it. Yugo Hachiken too had to thrive in a completely different environment, find a way to fit in, and try to find out his purpose. If you are a fan of Hiromu Arakawa’s work, Silver Spoon is a must-read. It is a human story that has explored complex ideas, challenging the readers to think more about their choices. 

Arakawa is known for his talent for writing likable characters, and it is no surprise that Yugo Hachiken is a sort of character that most people can relate to. He struggles to find a purpose for himself, just like most students these days. Moreover, the other characters are also quite likable and engaging. Once the characters are introduced, one can’t help but cheer for them as they fight for their dreams. The manga is so engaging that you won’t be able to put it down until you have finished it.
